New Delhi [India], September 12:<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI)<\/strong>\u00a0hosted the\u00a0BRICS+ Dialogue 2026<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u00a0Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi<\/strong>, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, diplomats, entrepreneurs, investors, academics and sectoral experts from across the BRICS+ ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Held under the theme\u00a0\u201cBuilding Inclusive, Innovative & Resilient Pathways for the Global South,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0the Dialogue took place as India holds the BRICS Presidency and focused on strengthening practical cooperation among emerging economies through business partnerships, innovation, women\u2019s economic participation and healthcare collaboration.<\/p>\n

The Dialogue was organised by\u00a0BRICS CCI<\/strong>\u00a0and powered by\u00a0GrowQR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sameep Shastri, Chairman, BRICS CCI & President, BRICS CCI Young Leaders<\/strong>, underlined the need to move beyond dialogue towards tangible outcomes.\u00a0\u201cBRICS+ must move from dialogue to delivery\u2014creating real partnerships, investments, technology linkages and opportunities across the Global South.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Opening the proceedings,\u00a0Ms. Shabana Nasim, Vice Chairperson, BRICS CCI<\/strong>, highlighted the importance of technology-enabled and inclusive growth.\u00a0\u201cTechnology, education and women\u2019s empowerment must work together to build truly inclusive and future-ready economies across BRICS+.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In his Special Address,\u00a0Mr. Atul Banshal, Vice Chairman, BRICS CCI<\/strong>, emphasised stronger commercial linkages across BRICS+ markets,\u00a0\u201cThe next phase of BRICS+ cooperation must deepen the movement of capital, technology, talent and enterprise across our markets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first session,\u00a0\u201cFrom Margins to Mainstream \u2014 Institutionalising Women\u2019s Leadership in BRICS Innovation Ecosystems,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0examined the role of women in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and decision-making.<\/p>\n

Moderated by\u00a0Ms. Ruby Sinha, President, BRICS CCI WE<\/strong>, the session brought together distinguished voices including\u00a0Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharyya,<\/strong>\u00a0former Indian Foreign Secretary and former BRICS Sherpa; HRH Ms. Lebogang Zulu, Executive Chairperson, BRICS Women\u2019s Business Alliance South Africa; Ms. Monica Monteiro, Chairperson, BRICS WBA Brazilian Chapter; Ms. Shadi Sedghinejad; and Ms. Yana Oseyeva<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ms. Sinha said:\u00a0\u201cWomen\u2019s leadership is an economic imperative. BRICS+ must expand women\u2019s access to capital, markets, mentorship and decision-making.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

HRH Ms. Zulu highlighted the importance of connecting women entrepreneurs across markets,\u00a0\u201cEconomic empowerment means connecting women to capital, markets and opportunities at scale.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mr. Bhattacharyya noted,\u00a0\u201cAs BRICS+ expands, its strength will depend on the quality of cooperation it creates across societies, economies and knowledge networks.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ms. Monteiro added,\u00a0\u201cStronger cross-border networks can help women entrepreneurs turn ideas into markets, partnerships and opportunities.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A key outcome of the Dialogue was the signing of a\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding between Karnataka State Marketing Communications and Advertising Limited (KSMCA) and the BRICS Women\u2019s Business Alliance South Africa<\/strong>\u00a0under the\u00a0\u201cScreen to Market Pathway 2028\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0initiative. The MoU represents an effort to create practical cross-border pathways for creative talent, enterprises and market access, reinforcing the Dialogue\u2019s focus on converting conversations into tangible collaboration.<\/p>\n

The second session,\u00a0\u201cBuilding the BRICS+ Innovation and Startup Economy,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0focused on entrepreneurship, investment, technology, digital transformation and the creation of a more connected startup ecosystem across BRICS+. Moderated by\u00a0Mr. Bibin Babu, Executive Director, BRICS CCI and Founder & CEO, GrowQR<\/strong>, the session brought together\u00a0Mr. Dmitry Khrichenko, Ms. Nokuthula Nokky Ndlovu, Mr. Mudit Kumar, Mr. Anudeep Muttavarapu, Dr. Nageswara Rao Atyam, Mr. P. Ramakrishna and Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Babu said,\u00a0\u201cBRICS+ can connect founders, investors, technology ecosystems and markets, enabling innovation from the Global South to scale globally.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The third session,\u00a0\u201cHealth Beyond Borders \u2014 Advancing a Shared Vision for the Future,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0addressed healthcare cooperation as a critical component of sustainable development. Moderated by\u00a0Mr. Prann Sharma, Director General, BRICS CCI<\/strong>, the session brought together healthcare, policy and business leaders including\u00a0Ms. Pauline Maksimovna Pavlova, Ms. Mbali Khumalo, Dr. Anoop Mirakhur, Dr. Shuchin Bajaj, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Dr. Anupama Mutthige and Dr. Moumita Nandy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mr. Sharma said,\u00a0\u201cHealthcare offers BRICS+ an opportunity to combine technology, traditional knowledge and affordable delivery models to create solutions that cross borders.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
