Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 28<\/strong>: Restaurateur\u00a0Rohit Khattar\u2019s EHV\u00a0has signed an agreement with\u00a0Reliance Industries Limited\u00a0to bring India\u2019s most awarded restaurant,\u00a0Indian Accent\u00a0to Mumbai. This comes on the heels of announcing the summer opening of EHV\u2019s forthcoming restaurant in New York, Koloman helmed by Chef Markus Glocker as well as collaboration with Chef David Thompson for Thai restaurants in India.<\/p>\n

Indian Accent, Mumbai is expected to open before the end of the year. It shall be housed in a beautiful space overlooking the fountains at the Dhirubhai Ambani Square at\u00a0Jio World Centre\u00a0in Bandra Kurla Complex.<\/p>\n

The kitchen at Indian Accent Mumbai will be helmed by\u00a0Executive\u00a0Chef\u00a0Shantanu Mehrotra\u00a0who has been Executive Chef of Indian Accent,\u00a0New Delhi since its opening under the guidance of\u00a0Chef\u00a0Manish Mehrotra, who created the Indian Accent menu and has been promoted to Culinary Director.\u00a0Rijul Gulati\u00a0shall be Head Chef and\u00a0Varun Sharma, who leads the award winning bar\u00a0at EHV\u2019s other restaurant,\u00a0Comorin, shall\u00a0head the\u00a0bar\u00a0programme.\u00a0The G.M. of Indian Accent is yet to be appointed and shall\u00a0report to the\u00a0Operations Director,\u00a0Nitin Mathur.<\/p>\n

The restaurant is designed by the prolific London based,\u00a0Russell Sage Studio\u00a0working closely with EHV\u2019s Design Director\u00a0Rohini Kapur. Architectural Design is by\u00a0Incubis Consultants\u00a0under project supervision by EHV\u2019s Director Development\u00a0Vikas Bhasin. Indian Accent, Mumbai shall seat 80, including 2 Private Dining Rooms styled as homage to Mumbai\u2019s Art Deco movement.<\/p>\n
